Mermaid (in broken pieces)

I also restore artwork, and/or do research on behalf of clients to determine where a piece can be restored and how much it will cost, if it is something that I can't do myself.

Mermaid (2nd phase-top; Finished-bottom)

The large picture on top of this page shows a restoration project I undertook of a fresco discovered underneath the paint at the Franklin School, which was the first public school in the District of Columbia. The two pictures to the right show me at work fixing a ceramic mermaid that had broken into many pieces (photo above).
